Rise of Nations
Lieutenant of the Stag Lord
Until Akiros usurped the role, Dovan was comfortably the second-in-command of the bandit fort. Secretly pleased with the Stag Lord’s alcoholism, Dovan had been actively encouraging the man to drink, for as long as the Stag Lord was in his cups, the more power he had over the rest of the bandits. Dovan himself was a bit of a spook to the others— a dark, tattooed figure with an obvious taste for pain and sadism. He purportedly hailed from Nisroch, that dark and sinister land under Zon-Kuthon’s sway; a claim easily backed up by his collection of well-honed knives and fondness for grisly pursuits. Dovan “recruited” Auchs months ago by saving the huge man from a brawl he engineered. He often grew tired of Auch’s simpleminded sounds, but was just as pleased with how well the oaf took to torture— plus the security his friendship brought couldn’t be denied. The only fly in his ointment was Akiros, and up until the party’s attack, had been plotting ways to kill the warrior subtly without arousing the Stag Lord’s suspicions.
